Your next stop will be at the beautiful waterfalls of Agua Azul, which are situated approximately 60 km south of Palenque and are known as one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Mexico. Afterwards visit the waterfalls of Misol Há and walk behind the immense water curtain to a lookout and take a refreshing dip in the pool below. Finally return to Palenque. Overnight Stay. These however, are rarely visited by tourists which allows for exciting encounters with monkeys and other animals. The monkeys loudly defend their territory and we recommend bringing sturdy shoes because every now and then you might have to dodge flying branches. After this jungle adventure you are brought back to your hotel in Palenque. Overnight stay. (Meals: Breakfast in the Hotel)

There are over 100 ruins spanning 2 km². Afterwards, drive to the idyllic and peaceful Laguna Bacalar. Explore the town’s Fort, relax on the beach or rent a kayak to explore this turquoise lagoon.
