Day 1

Arrival in Mexico City

According to your time of arrival you are picked up from the airport or bus station in Mexico City and brought to your hotel. Overnight stay. (Meals: None)

Tag 2

City Tour & Anthropological Museum

After breakfast you are taken on a city tour. You will visit the huge Zocalo with its famous Cathedral and the Government Palace with its impressive murals by Diego Riviera, amongst others. To make the city tour perfect, it finishes with an informative visit of the Anthropological Museum which is situated on the brink of the Chapultepec Park. Afterwards you are brought back to your hotel. In the afternoon you have the chance to discover Mexico City on your own. Overnight stay. (Meals: Breakfast in the hotel)

Day 3

Coyoacán & Xochimilco

After breakfast you are off to Coyoacán, an authentic bohemian residential area which has preserved its charming atmosphere. During this tour you will explore the vivid streets and plazas of Coyoacán as well the famous house and now museum once belonging to Frida Kahlo. Afterwards the tour continues to the colorful canals of Xochimilco which are also known as the floating gardens. While enjoying an idyllic boat ride, you can taste typical Mexican dishes, admire the artesenia and listen to the sounds of mariachi bands that pass by on other boats. Afterwards you will be brought back to your hotel. Overnight stay. (Meals: Breakfast in the hotel)

Day 4

Teotihuacán & Basílica de Guadalupe

Today you are off towards the impressive archeological site of Teotihuacán that is situated about 65 kilometers away from the city. It is the largest city of ruins in Latin America covering 22km² and a large portion is still yet to be excavated. You definitely should not miss out on climbing up the Sun and Moon Pyramids, as they provide an imposing view of the „City of the Gods“. Then, continue on to the Basilica de Guadalupe, Mexico’s most famous pilgrimage site before being brought back to your hotel. Overnight stay. (Meals: Breakfast in the hotel)

Day 5

Day of Departure

After breakfast you are, depending on the rest of your vacation, brought to the airport or the bus station. (Meals: Breakfast in the hotel)
