Frida Kahlo

In Coyoacán your Frida Kahlo Day begins. It is one of the most beautiful districts of Mexico City. Here you will visit the famous „Casa Azul“, the house of Frida’s birth. Later on this house is where Frida and Diego lived and worked after they were married and where you can find many original sketches. Then enjoy a nice lunch in the main square of Coyoacán before continuing on to the Leo Trotzky Museum, who was a friend and guest of the couple. Afterwards visit the Dolores Olmedo Museum which houses some of Frida and Diego’s artwork. The final visit is Diego Rivera’s private museum „Anahuacalli“, which he established after the death of Frida Kahlo. A “must see” and a perfect way to end your Frida Kahlo day.
