In the morning you are, according to your situation, picked up from your hotel or the bus station to begin an unforgettable experience, giving you a better understanding of the indigenous way of life and their culture. While visiting the traditional Tianguis, a typical Mexican market, you get an authentic impression of the ancient traditions and what everyday life of the Maya people was like without any other tourist groups around. Let yourself be enchanted by this unique atmosphere and the beautiful traditional costumes which the villagers wear with pride. Furthermore you have the possibility to get to know the indigenous graveyard of Romerillo and the small village Crustom, where the indigenous people produce typical snacks from the region. Afterwards visit el Arcotete, a huge, tree-lined rock, which was formed by a river over hundreds of years into an arch shape. You will return to San Cristóbal around 3 pm where depending on the rest of your vacation, you are brought to your hotel or the bus station.
