Day 1

Arrival in Mérida

According to your time of arrival you are picked up from the airport or bus station in Merida and brought to your hotel. Overnight stay (Meals: None)

Day 2

City Tour Mérida (Private)

After breakfast your city tour begins through Merida which is also known as the „White City“. Among other important sights, you will visit the Cathedral and the Government Palace in the historic city center, as well as the Paseo de Montejo with its gorgeous houses. Afterwards you are brought back to your hotel and can enjoy a free afternoon to explore the city on your own. Overnight stay. (Meals: Breakfast in the hotel)

Day 3

Uxmal & Kabah (Small group)

In the morning you leave towards Uxmal, which is the Yucatan’s most important archeological site next to Chichen Itza. During your guided tour explore the pyramids of the fortuneteller and the wizard, the casa de las Monjas, the ballcourt and the Palacio del Gobernador until you move on to the next Maya site of Kabah. Admire the Palace of the masks which on it’s facade has hundreds of stone masks depicting the rain god Chaac. After enjoying another guided tour you return to your hotel in Merida. Overnight stay. (Meals: Breakfast in the hotel & lunch on the tour)

Day 4

Celestún (Small group)

This day is a day of pure nature. In the morning your tour takes you to Celestun where you can watch one of the most extensive flamingo colonies while on a boat trip through the unique mangrove swamps. After lunch enjoy a free afternoon on the beautiful beach. Experience the amazing flora and fauna and just relax at Celestún Beach before being brought back to your hotel in Merida. Overnight stay. (Meals: Breakfast in the hotel & lunch on the tour)

Day 5

Mérida – Chichén Itzá – Playa del Carmen or Cancun

After breakfast you head towards Chichen Itza, one of the Seven World Wonders and Mexico’s most famous and magnificently restored archeological excavations on the Yucatan Peninsula. Admire the monumental Kukulkan pyramid, which is also known as „El Castillo“, and explore the other impressive constructions this place has to offer. After your guided tour you continue to the beautiful white sandy beaches of Playa del Carmen or Cancún where your connection stay begins. (Meals: Breakfast in the hotel & lunch on the tour)
